Monchiero Barolo Montanello 2019

Monchiero Barolo Montanello has a captivating nose of red cherry, dark chocolate and wet gravel.  It exhibits a broad and powerful palate, with a distinctive characteristic of relatively soft tannins (especially for a Barolo). This attribute makes the wines more approachable and immediately enjoyable. However, the dense clay-rich soil in which the vines grow imparts dark color, intense flavor, and excellent aging capabilities to the wines produced.
